How It Works

FatPNG uses WebAssembly (WASM) technology to run professional-grade compression algorithms directly in your browser. This includes:

MozJPEG - Mozilla's optimized JPEG encoder
OxiPNG - A high-performance PNG optimizer
libwebp - Google's WebP encoder

These are the same tools used by professional image optimization services, but running entirely on your device.

Privacy First

Your images never leave your device. All processing happens locally in your browser, which means:

No data is uploaded to any server
No images are stored or viewed by anyone
The tool works offline once the page loads
No account or personal information required
