SmallBytes is a free online tool that allows you to compress and convert images and PDF files directly in your web browser. The Service processes files locally on your device using WebAssembly technology. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

You retain all rights to your files. Since all processing occurs locally in your browser, your files are never uploaded to our servers and we have no access to them.

Ensuring you have the right to process any files you use with the Service
Maintaining backups of your original files before processing
Any consequences resulting from processing your files

The SmallBytes website, including but not limited to its design, code, graphics, logos, user interface, and all other content (excluding user-provided files), is owned by or licensed to SmallBytes and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or materials without our prior written permission.

Since file processing occurs locally on your device, you are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original files. We are not liable for any data loss, file corruption, or damage to your files or device.
